Review # 72 Ever After High Epic Winter Blondie Lockes Doll

Mattel’s Ever After High Epic Winter doll line has slowly and surprisingly became one of my favorite Ever After High doll lines. When I saw the promo pictures for the first time, I was not sure what to think about the new head molds and the new faces. Then I saw the dolls in person and I liked them a lot but I was not in love yet. I became truly obsessed with the doll line once I watched the EAH Epic Winter movie and now I have almost all of the dolls from this line (I have Crystal Winter, Briar Beauty, Ashlynn Ella, Blondie Lockes, 2-pack of Rosabella Beauty and Daring Charming, Apple White and the only one I am missing is Madeline Hatter).

Blondie Lockes, daughter of Goldilocks, is part of The Story of the Three Bears as the next Goldilocks. Blondie is a student and a reporter at Ever After High. She has very high standards and she wants everything to be just right (in other words perfect). At first I was not very fond of her character mostly because I found her voice to be a bit irritating but recently I started liking her more and more. Epic Winter Blondie Lockes is my third doll of this character as I already have her signature doll and Just Sweet Blondie doll.

Ever After High Epic Winter Blondie Lockes is just adorable. I like her new smiling face and I think it really suits her. Her outfit is very pretty and it looks great on her. My favorite part of the outfit is the white hood with blue faux fur which I absolutely love. I only wish it had bear ears like presented on the artwork. Blondie is the only Epic Winter doll that does not have molded on leggings and I think she needs them (molded on or made of fabric) because after all it is winter and she would get cold without them. Unfortunately this doll does not come with a stand or a brush as all of the new Ever After High dolls. The only extra thing that she comes with is a ring for her owner and a small card with Blondie’s picture and a short story about the Rose of Curiosity. Overall in my opinion this doll is very cute and I like her a lot, but at the same time I also think that she could have been so much better if she had bear ears on her hood, her shoes and bag had painted on details and if she came with a doll stand.
