Since I absolutely loved working on my first OOAK doll Apple Black, I knew that I would continue learning how to customize dolls. I feel like I am getting better and better in rerooting the hair every time I do it, so once I master the technique, I will prepare a tutorial for you. I am also planning on learning how to repaint a doll and I am currently gathering all of the necessary supplies to do so.
Monster High C.A. Cupid is one of my favorite Monster High dolls. She is also a very special doll, because Cupid is no longer a student at Monster High. She changed schools and enrolled at Ever After High, and all of her newest dolls are part of the Ever After High franchise (so far there were five Ever After High C.A. Cupid dolls released). Monster High C.A. Cupid doll was actually released twice, first as a part of Sweet 1600 doll line, and then the doll was rereleased as a signature C.A. Cupid doll. The two releases are almost identical and it is very difficult to distinguish one from the other when buying a preloved doll without the box.
I decided to reroot one of my three Monster High C.A. Cupid dolls with the beautiful long hair in two shades of blue. I think that blue hair really suits Cupid as it nicely matches the color of her eyes. My blue-haired Cupid is wearing her original accessories and shoes, and Abbey Bominable’s Dot Dead Gorgeous dress. I really like her new look and I decided to name her Azura.
