DC Super Hero Girls is a new doll line created by Mattel that consists of female superhero dolls. The first wave of dolls features Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Poison Ivy and Bumblebee. The dolls’ bodies were designed after real life athletes and they are definitely more muscular than standard fashion dolls.
I was intrigued by the new DC Super Hero Girls dolls from the moment I saw them online. I decided to get Poison Ivy because I really like her character and the color scheme of the doll.
Poison Ivy is a fictional supervillain and eco-terrorist with the ability to control plants, appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of Batman. In the DC Super Hero Girls universe, Poison Ivy is a teenager who has superpowers and she is not a villain (yet?).
DC Super Hero Girl Poison Ivy is a shy girl with a genius level intellect. Her life was changed forever when a lab experiment went wrong and this accident granted her the ability to control plants. Trying to blossom into her new life, Poison Ivy adapts to her new super powers
by attending Super Hero High.
Poison Ivy doll is absolutely amazing. First of all, she does not need a doll stand because she can stand on her own. She is fully articulated and she has a great body shape. Poison Ivy’s face is very simple yet beautiful. Her outfit is nicely made and suits her well. I like that since she is a superhero, she does not wear a lot of makeup and she does not wear heels. Overall I highly recommend getting her and I am sure that if you get her, you won’t be disappointed.
