DC Super Hero Girls Cheetah Doll Review || Recenzja lalki

Since the premiere in late 2015, DC Super Hero Girls has been of my favorite doll lines. Once I got my very first doll, Basic Poison Ivy, I fell in love with the new body mold of these dolls and their super hero style. I also got basic dolls of Starfire, Frost, Katana, Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Supergirl, and a 2016 SDCC Exclusive Katana doll. To me the basic DCSHG dolls are the best as they come with full articulation and no molded on clothes. This definitely limits my buying options because it seems that Mattel focuses on making more and more Wonder Woman and Supergirl dolls in various outfits instead of releasing new characters. Fortunately the two new basic dolls recently showed up on Amazon – Cheetah and Hawkgirl.

Cheetah is one of the villains of the DC Comics universe and she is Wonder Woman’s nemesis. In the DC Super Hero Girls world she is one of the students at Super Hero High and to date she appeared in many of the YouTube webisodes even though she is not considered to be one of the main characters of the series.

Cheetah doll was actually first released as a part of the 2017 SDCC Exclusive DC Super Hero Girls Wonder Woman & Cheetah set. I must admit that I was quite disappointed to see a new character being released not only as a limited edition doll but also a part of a 2-pack. However, knowing that DCSHG Katana was also first released as a SDCC exclusive doll and then her regular basic doll came out, I was hoping that this would also be the case with Cheetah and I was right. Even though basic Cheetah has a slightly different outfit than the SDCC one, the doll itself is exactly the same and I’m very happy that I got the single doll instead of a SDCC 2-pack.

DC Super Hero Girls Cheetah doll looks great from head to toe. I like that she has a different body mold than the other dolls from this line and she has cheetah ears and a tail. She has cheetah spots on her cheeks, calves and tail which gives her a werecat look. She is wearing a pink and black unitard, a pink and orange blouse and orange shoes, and she also has two gold bracelets. I am not very fond of unitards and I am definitely going to change her outfit, just like I did for Poison Ivy. By the way, Cheetah reminds me a bit of Monster High’s Toralei and I think that they look a little alike, don’t they? I’ll post some pictures of them together on my Instagram soon so stay tuned!

Linia lalek DC Super Hero Girls zalicza się do moich ulubionych od czasu, gdy lalki po raz pierwszy pojawiły się na rynku pod koniec 2015 roku. Kiedy kupiłam moją pierwszą lalkę, podstawową Poison Ivy, bardzo spodobała mi się jej budowa ciała i styl superbohaterki. Następnie nabyłam podstawowe lalki następujących postaci: Starfire, Frost, Katana, Wonder Woman, Batgirl i Supergirl oraz 2016 SDCC Exclusive Katana. Podstawowe lalki DCSHG najbardziej mi się podobają, bo posiadają pełną ruchomość w stawach i nie mają odlanych z plastiku ubrań. Niestety ogranicza to moje możliwości zakupowe, bo Mattel najwyraźniej skupia się na produkcji nowych lalek Wonder Woman i Supergirl w różnych strojach zamiast tworzenia lalek nowych postaci. Na szczęście niedawno na Amazonie pojawiły się dwie nowe lalki podstawowe – Cheetah i Hawkgirl.

Cheetah to czarny charakter występujący w uniwersum DC Comics i wróg Wonder Woman. W świecie DC Super Hero Girls, Cheetah jest jedną z uczennic Szkoły Superbohaterek, która wielokrotnie pojawiła się w odcinkach serialu na kanale DCSHG na YouTubie. Nie zalicza się ona jednak do głównych bohaterek serii.

Lalka Cheetah została właściwie po raz pierwszy wydana jako część zestawu 2017 SDCC Exclusive DC Super Hero Girls Wonder Woman & Cheetah. Muszę przyznać, że nie byłam zadowolona z faktu, że nowa postać została wydana nie tylko jako lalka z limitowanej edycji, ale również jako część dwu-packu. Jednakże rok wcześniej Katana również została po raz pierwszy wydana jako limitowana lalka, a później jej zwyczajna, podstawowa wersja pojawiła się w sklepach, i dlatego podejrzewałam, że taka sama sytuacja będzie miała miejsce w przypadku Cheetah i miałam rację. Wprawdzie podstawowa Cheetah ma na sobie nieco inny strój niż ta z zestawu SDCC, to lalka sama w sobie jest identyczna i cieszę się, że kupiłam ją zamiast dwu-packu.

Lalka DC Super Hero Girls Cheetah wygląda świetnie. Podoba mi się, że została obdarzona innym ciałem niż pozostałe lalki i posiada gepardzie uszy i ogon. Cheetah ma również gepardzie cętki na policzkach, łydkach i ogonie, co sprawia, że rzeczywiście wygląda jak kotołak. Lalka ubrana jest w różowo-czarny kombinezon, różowo-pomarańczową bluzę i pomarańczowe buty oraz ma dwie złote bransoletki. Nie przepadam za tego typu kombinezonami i dlatego z pewnością zmienię jej strój, tak jak zrobiłam to w przypadku Poison Ivy. Swoją drogą, Cheetah przypomina mi Toralei ze świata Monster High i mam wrażenie, że te postaci wyglądają podobnie, czyż nie? Niedługo opublikuję kilka zdjęć tych dwóch lalek razem na moim Instagramie, więc nie zapomnij tam zajrzeć!
