Barbie is a busy women and to date she had over 100 careers from a Doctor, a Farmer and a Scientist to a President. There are still many jobs that she hasn’t done yet and Mattel continues to release dolls in the Barbie Careers line. Dolls featured in this line not only wear job-specific outfits but also come with the accessories fitted for the job, and the amount of the extra items vary from one little accessory like a microscope to huge and detailed playsets like a fully equipped kitchen.
Barbie Beekeeper is wonderful set and it’s definitely one of my favorites. The doll itself is a regular blonde Barbie doll that has an original body type but it’s not the doll who is the star of the show – it’s the beekeeper outfit and the accessories. Barbie is wearing a very realistic beekeeper outfit that includes a hat with a net, a shirt, gloves, pants and boots. It’s great that her clothes are something that an actual beekeeper would have worn in real life. Barbie also comes with a beehive and bees, and you could see exactly how it works in my video on my YouTube channel (direct link below).
My father-in-law’s hobby is beekeeping and thanks to him I had an opportunity to see with my own eyes how beekeepers work. I also wore a special outfit for protection which actually made me look like this Barbie doll. Knowing this profession a bit, I appreciate even more how Mattel is making sure that Barbie is wearing job-appropriate clothes and therefore is relevant and believable. It’s a pleasure to play with a doll that is such a great representation of a real person. Mattel did a fantastic job in making this doll and I hope that the Barbie Careers line will continue to include more careers like this one in the future.

Barbie jest bardzo aktywną kobietą, która do tej pory wykonywała już ponad 100 różnych zawodów, od lekarza, farmera i naukowca, aż do prezydenta. Jest oczywiście jeszcze wiele prac, którymi się nie zajmowała i dlatego Mattel wciąż produkuje nowe lalki w linii Barbie Kariery. Lalki wydawane w ramach tej linii są nie tylko ubrane w odpowiednie do danego zajęcia stroje, ale także posiadają specjalne akcesoria różnej ilości i wielkości, od małych jak np. mikroskop do dużych jak np. w pełni wyposażona kuchnia.
Barbie Pszczelarka to z pewnością jeden z moich ulubionych zestawów Barbie. Lalka to zwyczajna Barbie blondynka o oryginalnej budowie ciała i zdecydowanie to nie ona jest tu najważniejsza, ale jej ubranie oraz akcesoria. Barbie ma na sobie realistyczny strój pszczelarza, który składa się z kapelusza z siatką, bluzy, rękawic, spodni i butów. Podoba mi się, że strój lalki jest czymś, co prawdziwy pszczelarz ubrałby w rzeczywistym świecie. W zestawie znajduje się też ul i pszczoły, których funkcje możesz dokładnie zobaczyć w filmiku na moim kanale YouTube (bezpośredni link poniżej).
Mój teść zajmuje się pszczelarstwem jako hobby i dzięki niemu miałam możliwość zobaczyć na własne oczy jak wygląda praca pszczelarza. Miałam wtedy na sobie specjalny strój, w którym wyglądałam prawie tak samo jak lalka Barbie. Jestem pod wrażeniem tego, że Mattel tak się postarał, żeby Barbie była ubrana w odpowiedni do zawodu strój i wyglądała tak realistycznie. Zabawa lalką, która stanowi tak dobre odwzorowanie prawdziwej postaci to wielka przyjemność. Mattel wykonał świetną robotę produkując tę lalkę i mam nadzieję, że w ramach linii Barbie Kariery pojawi się więcej tak wspaniałych lalek jak Barbie Pszczelarka.
