Monster High Electrified Monstrous Hair Ghouls Twyla Doll Review || Zelektryzowane Fryzury Twyla – Recenzja Lalki

A year ago, when Monster High Electrified dolls started showing up in stores, I was not really sure what to think of them. Then I watched the Electrified movie and I enjoyed it a lot which made me like the dolls more. Then, as Twyla is one of my favorite MH characters, I decided to pick her up in a store but to my surprise all the Twyla dolls I could find in Geneva had wonky eyes. The doll was quite expensive (42.90 CHF that is ~44.56 USD) so I decided to wait with the purchase until I found the nice-looking one. This turned out to be quite a challenge and I almost gave up on getting that doll. Fortunately, a few months later Migros started a 70% off sale and guess what – the Electrified dolls’ price got reduced! What’s more they must have gotten more dolls from the warehouse and I was able to find the one with nicely painted eyes. It looks like sometimes good things really come to those who wait!

Monster High Electrified Twyla doll is part of the Monstrous Hair Ghouls sub-line which also features Clawdeen Wolf. In total, the MH Electrified doll line includes eight dolls: Draculaura, Ari Hauntington, Silvi Timberwolf, Cleo de Nile and Venus McFlytrap (all five are part of the Hair-Raising Ghouls sub-line); High Voltage Frankie Stein; and Twyla and Clawdeen mentioned before. To date, I have three of them in my collection: Frankie, Silvi and Twyla, but I am planning on getting Venus and Cleo as well. I must admit that apparently the more of them I have, the more I want…

Electrified Twyla is a very pretty doll. Her color scheme is a nice combination of her signature mint green, purple and grey colors with an addition of neon pink and green. Twyla has long crimped hair and comes with a lot of extra hair accessories so that you could style her hair however you want. I like her headband and big earrings, and the shadows painted on her right hand and forearm. I wish she had shadows painted on her legs as well, just like the previous dolls of this character (for example Coffin Bean or Freak du Chic Twylas), but I am glad she didn’t lose all of the shadows. I think that Twyla, Daughter of the Boogeyman, is a great Monster High character and I am happy that she got to be one of the main characters of the movie for the second time (she had an important role in the 13 Wishes movie as well). I just got another doll of her from the Garden Ghouls line and I look forward to getting the one from the upcoming Howling Hoodies line, so I will be definitely reviewing more Twylas in the future – so stay stuned! : )

Obecnie posiadam trzy Zelektryzowane lalki w mojej kolekcji: Frankie, Silvi i Twylę, a w przyszłości planuję nabyć też Cleo i Venus.

Lalka utrzymana jest w świetnej kolorystyce stanowiącej połączenie jej tradycyjnej miętowej zieleni, fioletu i szarości z dodatkowym neonowym różem i zielenią. : )
