As mentioned in my previous post about my vacation in Malaysia, this summer I tried snorkeling for the first time on Redang Island and I enjoyed it a lot. As it was such a great experience, I wanted my dolls to be able to do the same. Fortunately Mattel recently released a doll line related to its new movie Barbie Dolphin Magic. The movie premiered on September 17, 2017 and based on the trailer, is seems to be a good one and I am looking forward to watching it.
Barbie Dolphin Magic doll that I got is a simple, budget doll that has great accessories. Actually, the main reason why I got her is the snorkeling outfit and equipment she comes with. The doll itself looks like a regular Barbie with blonde hair, blue eyes and pink lips. She has basic articulation that means she can move her head, arms at the shoulders and legs atm the hips. As she is supposed to practice water sports, I think that she should be more articulated but you can always put the outfit on another doll, preferably a Made to Move one and play freely. This Barbie comes with a snorkeling outfits which consists of a colorful shirt and shorts, a yellow snorkel mask and a pair of pink swim fins. I was wearing a similar outfit and a mask when I went snorkeling myself, and I like that Barbie’s outfit is such a good replication of a real life one.

Jak wspominałam w poprzednim poście o moich wakacjach w Malezji, tego lata po raz pierwszy uprawiałam snorkeling na wyspie Redang i ogromnie mi się to spodobało. Z tego powodu chciałam dać moim lalkom możliwość zrobienia tego samego. Na szczęście Mattel niedawno wypuścił linię lalek w związku z najnowszym filmem Barbie Delfiny z Magicznej Wyspy. Film miał premierę 17 września 2017, i po obejrzeniu zwiastunu mam ochotę zobaczyć go w całości.
Lalka Barbie Delfiny z Magicznej Wyspy, którą mam to prosta lalka z serii budżetowej posiadająca świetne akcesoria. Tak naprawdę to kupiłam ją tylko ze względu na jej strój i akcesoria do snorkelingu. Sama lalka to standardowa Barbie o blond włosach, błękitnych oczach i różowych ustach. Lalka jest ruchoma w podstawowym zakresie tj. może poruszać głową, rękami w ramionach i nogami w biodrach. Jako, że jest to lalka, która ma uprawiać sporty wodne, wydaje mi się, że powinna mieć więcej możliwości ruchowych, jednakże z łatwością można ubrać inną lalkę w ten strój (najlepiej Barbie Made to Move) i bawić się bez ograniczeń. Barbie ma na sobie strój do snorkelingu składający się z kolorowej bluzki i szortów, żółtą maskę i różowe płetwy. Miałam na sobie podobny strój, gdy uprawiałam snorkeling i podoba mi się, że ubranie lalki jest tak dobrym odzworowaniem tego z prawdziwego świata.
