DC Super Hero Girls is one of my favorite new doll lines. I like the design of the dolls and the story behind them. The idea is similar to Monster High and Ever After High, where students are monsters and characters from fairy tales, but in this case we have a high school called Super Hero High filled with students who are super heroes in the making. What’s interesting is that some of the characters we know from DC Comics as villains (for example Poison Ivy or Harley Quinn)  in the DC Super Hero Girls world are presented as heroes who save the day.

Starfire is my third DC Super Hero Girls doll and the other ones I have is are Poison Ivy and 2017 SDCC Exclusive Katana. In the future I am planning on getting Frost and a regular Katana to unbox as I am keeping the SDCC Exclusive one in the box.

Starfire caught my eye mainly because of her fabulous color scheme. The combination of purple and orange with a little bit of green makes her stand out on the doll shelf. Her red and orange hair is nice and long, and her face is very pretty. I like that she looks athletic and her body is quite muscular which clearly means that she works out a lot to be a super hero. Her accessories include shoulder pads, arm cuffs and a green starbolt. Starfire is also able to stand on her own and she does not need a doll stand.

I highly recommend getting this doll as I think that it is not only well-designed and well-made but also it conveys the message that girls can be strong, brave and athletic – they can be super heroes.

DC Super Hero Girls to jedna z moich ulubionych nowych linii lalek. Podoba mi się zarówno estetyka lalek jak i idea Super Hero High. Pomysł jest podobny do Monster High i Ever After High, gdzie uczniowie to potwory i postaci z baśni, jednakże w tym przypadku liceum nazywa się Super Hero High i wypełnione jest przyszłymi superbohaterami. Interesujące jest to, że niektórzy bohaterowie, których znamy z komiksów DC Comics jako złoczyńców, w świecie DCSHG są przedstawieni jako postaci pozytywne (np. Poison Ivy czy Harley Quinn).

Starfire to moja trzecia lalka z serii DC Super Hero Girls i z pewnością nie ostatnia. Pozostałe lalki DCSHG, które znajdują się w mojej kolekcji to Poison Ivy i 2017 SDCC Exclusive Katana. W przyszłości planuję też nabyć Frost oraz podstawową Katanę, którą, w przeciwieństwie do ekskluzywnej lalki z SDCC, chciałabym rozpakować z pudełka.

Starfire wpadła mi w oko głównie ze względu na jej wspaniałą kolorystykę. Połączenie fioletu i pomarańczu z odrobina zieleni sprawia, że bohaterka wyróżnia się na tle innych lalek. Jej pomarańczowo-żółte włosy są długie i miękkie w dotyku, a zielone oczy, fioletowe brwi i usta dobrze komponują się z delikatnie pomarańczowym odcieniem skóry. Bardzo mi się podoba, że lalka wygląda na wysportowaną, a jej ciało jest wyraźnie umięśnione, co świadczy o tym, że Starfire wykonuje dużo ćwiczeń fizycznych, żeby być jak najsprawniejszą bohaterką. Starfire ma na sobie fioletową sukienkę i kozaki, a także fioletowe naramienniki i srebrne karwasze oraz zielony pocisk energetyczny. Lalka jest w stanie samodzielnie stać i nie potrzebuje stojaka.

Zdecydowanie polecam zakup tej lalki! Moim zdaniem Starfire jest nie tylko świetnie zaprojektowaną i wykonaną lalką, ale także niesie ze sobą ważne przesłanie, że dziewczyny mogą być silne, odważne i wysportowane – mogą być superbohaterkami.
