She was underrated, she joined my collection last and almost did not get reviewed. It has been quite a journey for Madeline Hatter from the Ever After High Epic Winter doll line and of course I didn’t mean any of this to happen to her.
It was just a few days ago that I realized I didn’t review Maddie from the Epic Winter line yet. It was quite a surprise because I was so sure that I already did it! Madeline was the last doll from the Epic Winter line that I needed to complete my collection and that is the main reason why I wanted to get her. What’s more she was the first Madeline Hatter doll with the new smiling face and smaller head and she looked cute. I received Maddie as a gift for Christmas and her winter-themed outfit made her a perfect gift for the occasion. My Mom told me that Santa Claus spent a lot of time in a toy store picking the doll with the best makeup. Thank you, Santa! : )
I would also like to mention that I liked the Ever After High Epic Winter movie a lot. The animation was great and the characters looked so amazing in the movie that it made me want to buy the dolls. First I got Crystal Winter and Briar Beauty, then Ashlynn Ella and Blondie Lockes, after that Rosabella Beauty and Daring Charming, and finally I got Apple White. Knowing that I was missing only Maddie, I asked Santa for her and here she is. I hope that next winter there will a lot of snow in my area and I will be able to take nice group photos of all the Epic Winter dolls.
Ever After High Epic Winter Madeline Hatter is an adorable doll and I feel bad that I underrated her in the beginning. To be honest when I saw her for the first time online she did not impress me and I wasn’t planning on getting her (just like I was not planning on getting more Epic Winter dolls after buying Crystal and Briar…). The more Epic Winter dolls I got, the more I liked them and when I finally saw Maddie in person in a store, I realized that I wanted her too. Now I know that I made the right decision and I am very happy that I added her to my collection. She looks different than the other Madeline Hatter dolls that I have (her signature doll and the Hat-Tastic Party one) but I think that the new smile suits her and overall she looks more youthful. This is the first time this hairstyle on her and to me it looks great. I also think that both the color palette and the style of her outfit match the theme of the line and the personality of the character. The downside of the doll is definitely the lack of a stand and a brush which unfortunately has become the standard practice nowadays.

Została zlekceważona, dołączyła do mojej kolekcji ostatnia i prawie nie została zrecenzowana. Dla Madeline Hatter z linii Ever After High Zima Wszechbaśni nie było to łatwe doświadczenie, a ja oczywiście nie chciałam, żeby to się wydarzyło.
Zaledwie kilka dni temu zorientowałam się, że jeszcze nie zrecenzowałam Maddie. Było to dla mnie duże zaskoczenie, bo byłam pewna, że zrobiłam to kilka tygodni temu. Madeline Hatter była ostatnią lalką z linii Zima Wszechbaśni, którą potrzebowałam do skompletowania kolekcji i to był główny powód, dla którego chciałam ją kupić. Była to też pierwsza lalka Madeline z nową uśmiechniętą twarzą i mniejsza głową, a ponadto wyglądała uroczo. Otrzymałam ją jako prezent na Święta Bożego Narodzenia i uważam, że idealnie pasowała do okazji ze względu na swój zimowy strój. Mama powiedziała mi, że Święty Mikołaj spędził dużo czasu w sklepie z zabawkami na wybieraniu lalki z najlepszym makijażem. Dziękuję bardzo, Mikołaju! : )
Musze przyznać, że film Ever After High Zima Wszechbaśni bardzo mi się podobał. Moim zdaniem animacja była świetna, a postacie prezentowały się w filmie tak dobrze, że nabrałam ochoty na zakup lalek. Na początku kupiłam Crystal Winter i Briar Beauty, następnie Ashlynn Ellę i Blondie Lockes, później Rosabellę Beauty and Daringa Charminga, a na końcu zdobyłam Apple White. Jako że brakowało mi tylko Maddie, poprosiłam o nią Mikołaja i tak oto trafiła ona do mojej kolekcji. Mam nadzieje, że w przyszłym roku zimą będzie dużo śniegu w mojej okolicy i będę mogła zrobić grupowe zdjęcia wszystkim lalkom z serii Zima Wszechbaśni.
Ever After High Madeline Hatter z serii Zima Wszechbaśni jest śliczną lalką i nie czuje się dobrze z tym, że na początku jej nie doceniłam. Szczerze mówiąc, gdy zobaczyłam ją po raz pierwszy online nie zrobiła na mnie wrażenia i nie zamierzałam jej kupować (tak jak nie zamierzałam kupować innych lalek z serii Zima Wszechbaśni poza Crystal i Briar…). Im więcej lalek z serii Zima Wszechbaśni trafiało do mojej kolekcji, tym bardziej one mi się podobały, a gdy w końcu zobaczyłam Maddie w sklepie, zdecydowałam, że też chciałabym ją mieć. Teraz wiem, że to była dobra decyzja i bardzo się cieszę, że Madeline pojawiła się w moim domu. Ta Maddie wygląda inaczej niż pozostałe lalki tej postaci, które posiadam (lalka podstawowa oraz lalka z serii Kapelustyczna impreza), ale uważam, że do twarzy jej z uśmiechem i ogólnie lalka wygląda bardziej młodzieńczo. Zarówno paleta kolorów jak i styl stroju lalki pasują do tematu przewodniego serii oraz charakteru postaci. Z kolei minusem lalki jest z pewnością brak stojaka i szczotki, co niestety stało się ostatnio standardem w świecie lalek Ever After High.
