Monster High Gloom and Bloom doll line is one of my favorite Monster High lines mainly because of the gorgeous outfits the dolls are wearing. I think that Gloom and Bloom Jinafire Long and Jane Boolittle are the pretties dolls of these characters released to date. Gloom and Bloom Venus McFlytrap is nice too but what made want to get her is her fantastic outfit. It was the same situation when it came to Catrine.
Monster High Gloom and Bloom Catrine is chronologically the fourth Catrine doll out of eight that were released to date and it is also the second Catrine doll in my collection. The other doll that I have is Ghoul Chat Catrine about which I wrote a short post some time ago.
As mentioned, I bought Gloom and Bloom Catrine DeMew only because of her outfit as I couldn’t find a stand alone outfit in a good price. I like having a lot of different outfits for my dolls but I do not want be overcrowded by dolls so often I buy just clothes and shoes on auctions sites like eBay or polish Allegro. Some outfits can be easily found online for a reasonable price but sometimes it turns out to be cheaper to buy the entire doll. In this case I bought Catrine for about 16 USD, whereas her outfit (with the shipping costs) was about 30 USD. Even though I would prefer to get just the outfit, I am happy to have a spare werecat doll on which I can practice doll repainting.
MH Gloom and Bloom Catrine is a beautiful doll. I really like her color scheme and the fact that it is darker than usual. The dark shades of purple look very well against Catrine’s white skin. Her outfit is just fabulous. I like the idea of the asymmetrical dress with a mini skirt underneath. The see-through mesh on her cleavage looks great and makes the outfit more sophisticated. A few neon green accessories pop against the dominant purple. Catrine is wearing blue heels with purple leg bracelets shaped as flowers. What also made me happy is the fact that Catrine came not only with gardening tools and a diary, but also a doll stand and a brush.
Overall I think that Monster High Gloom and Bloom Catrine DeMew is a great doll and I highly recommend getting her even if you already have other Catrine dolls. She is definitely worth getting not only because of her outfit but also because of her beautiful face and accessories.

Venus McFlytrap z serii Kwietne Upiorki też jest niebrzydka jednak to chęć posiadania jej stroju przekonała mnie do zakupu tej lalki. Taka sama sytuacja miała miejsce w przypadku Catrine.
Monster High Catrine z serii Kwietne Upiorki to chronologicznie czwarta z ośmiu do tej pory wydanych lalek tej postaci. Jest to także druga lalka Catrine, która znalazła się w mojej kolekcji, jako że posiadam również Catrine z serii Ghoul Chat, której pisałam w jednym z pierwszych postów na tym blogu.
Jak już wspomniałam, kupiłam Catrine DeMew z serii Kwietne Upiorki ze względu na jej strój, po długim poszukiwaniu jego poszukiwaniu online. Bardzo często kupuję same ubranka dla lalek Monster High na portalach takich jak Allegro czy eBay bo lubię zmieniać stroje moim lalkom. Niektóre stroje można często kupić w rozsądnej cenie, jednakże czasem tańsze okazuje się kupienie całej nowej lalki. W tym przypadku kupiłam Catrine za około 65 zł, podczas gdy kompletne nowe ubranko kosztowało na eBay’u wraz z wysyłką około 120 zł. Wprawdzie gdyby cena była taka sama to wolałabym kupić same ubranko, jedakże cieszę się, że mam teraz kotołaczkę, na której mogę poćwiczyć przemalowywanie twarzy (repaint).
Catrine DeMew z serii Kwietne Upiorki to naprawdę ładna lalka. Bardzo podoba mi się jej kolorystyka, która jest ciemniejsza niż zazwyczaj i uważam, że ciemny fiolet bardzo dobrze wygląda na tle białej skóry lalki. Strój Catrine jest po prostu fantastyczny. Pod asymetryczną sukienką z półprzeźroczystym dekoltem znajduje się minispódniczka, a jasnozielone dodatki ożywiają stylizację. Catrine nosi niebieskie buty na obcasach a dookoła kostek ma owinięte kwiatowe ozdoby. Bardzo jestem zadowolona z tego, że poza narzędzami ogrodniczymi i szczotką, do lalki dołączony jest też stojak i pamiętnik.
Moim zdaniem Monster High Catrine DeMew z serii Kwietne Upiorki to świetna lalka i polecam ją nawet tym, którzy już mają którąś z lalek tej postaci. Zdecydowanie warto ją kupić nie tylko ze względu na świetny strój, ale także z uwagi na jej piękną twarz i użyteczne akcesoria.
