Review # 45 Monster High Ghouls’ Getaway Elissabat Doll

Until now, I never liked Elissabat. I always considered her to be just a purple Draculaura and I was not interested in getting any of her dolls. Suddenly I changed my mind when I saw the pictures of the new Elissabat from the Ghouls’ Getaway doll line – this doll just stole my heart! I ordered her online on Target website as soon as she became available (Elissabat is a Target exclusive in the USA) and then I waited impatiently for two weeks for her to come from the USA to Switzerland. When she finally arrived, she did not disappoint me. I don’t mind her being a budget doll and coming without a stand, because she is absolutely beautiful.Elissabat was first introduced in 2013 in a Monster High Frights Camera Action movie. She is a vampire from Transylvania and she was chosen by fate as the Vampire Queen. She is also a famous actress in Hauntlywood. So far there were 5 Elissabat dolls released: her signature doll from the Frights, Camera, Action – Hauntlywood doll line, a doll in a 3-pack Ghoulebrities in Londoom, two budget dolls from Ghoul Fair and Ghouls’ Getaway doll lines and the most recent one, a 17 inch Elissabat doll from the Frightfully Tall Ghouls line.

Elissabat from the Ghouls’ Getaway doll line looks gorgeous. She doesn’t look like Draculaura at all. Elissabat’s face is very pretty and I love the lilac lipstick she is wearing. Her hair is very nice too, especially knowing that she is a budget doll. There is no gel or glue in it and the hair was rooted well so that there are no bald spots. Elissabat is not wearing a lot of clothes but it is understandable since she is on vacation in a tropical scaradise. Her accessories are very detailed and well thought out. I really like her earrings that are big hoop wood squares with sleeping black bats hanging from it. Her shoes look incredible too and I am very glad that this is a new shoe mold. As I mentioned before, she does not come with a stand or a brush, or any other accessory that she does not have on her already.

Overall I am very pleased with this doll. Ghouls’ Getaway Elissabat is definitely my favorite Elissabat doll made so far and I like everything about her.
