Review # 44 Ever After High Birthday Ball Rosabella Beauty Doll

I was intrigued by the Ever After High Birthday Ball line from the moment I saw the first pictures of these dolls online. As I mentioned in my review of Birthday Ball Cedar Wood, this doll line will feature at least five dolls: two scented dolls (Cedar Wood and Rosabella Beauty), that are Target exclusives in the USA, and three budget dolls (C.A. Cupid, Blondie Lockes and Duchess Swan). I like that the dolls in this line seem to look so different than usual because of the new hair colors.

Rosabella Beauty is the Daughter of Beauty and the Beast and her destiny is to be the next Beauty. She is an animal rights activist and she loves all magic creatures, especially beasts, and she often helps them fight for their rights. Rosabella is very intelligent and intuitive, and she has the magical ability to see people for who they really are, in the form of colored auras she can decipher. She is also a very good leader and organizer for her causes, as you can see in the webisode Rosabella’s Animal Rescue. Rosabella is one of my favorite Ever After High characters because of her love for animals and the fact that I absolutely love the Beauty and the Beast story.

Birthday Ball Rosabella Beauty looks so much different than her signature doll. She has bright yellow hair with gold tinsel in it, she is wearing yellow eyeshadow and pink lipstick, and she is wearing a yellow and pink dress and yellow shoes. That makes me think that she is a perfect doll for Easter because she looks like an adorable little chick. Rosabella comes with a pair of glasses, a headband, a necklace and a bag, and all of her accessories are painted nicely. She also comes with a gold brush and a gold stand.

Rosabella is a scented doll just like Cedar from the Birthday Ball line. The box says that she smells like a sugar cookie and to me she smells a bit like vanilla ice cream. Her scent is definitely different than Cedar’s. The source of the scent is her head, so I guess that you can probably remove it if you detach her head (I am not going to try this, because I like the scent, but I am curious if it is possible, so if you did it, please let me know!).
