Usually I plan every purchase and I do not buy dolls on the spur of the moment, but Rochelle Goyle from the Monster High Haunted Student Spirits doll line was so beautiful, that I just had to make an exception. When I saw this Rochelle in a toy store SMYK in Poland, I was so surprised that at first I didn’t know what to do. I’ve never expected to find this doll in a store, because she was a Walmart exclusive in the USA and in general American store exclusives are rarely available in Europe. Due to the fact that I fell in love at first sight, I did not hesitate long and Rochelle became one of my Christmas gifts. Now that I finally unboxed her, I am even more glad that I found her, because she is absulutely stunning!
Rochelle Goyle is a daughter of a gargoyle and she is from Scaris, France, but currently she is a student at Monster High in the Boonighted States of Scaremerica. In the Monster High: Haunted movie Rochelle was turned into a ghost so she could move around the ghost world undetected and save her friends. This is why she looks so much different from her signature doll there.
Rochelle as a ghost has translucent skin and a blue ghostly mask on her face. Her light blue and pink hair is loose (and there is no gel in it!). Her outfit is really nice and I especially like her translucent blue heels. Overall her entire look is very delicate and ethereal.
Rochelle is wearing a blue bracelet with an hourglass and she comes with a matching bracelet for her owner. The bracelet’s size is rather big, so surprisingly even an adult like me can wear it, which is great.
This dolls comes with a diary, a translucent blue brush and a stand that makes her looks as if she was floating. I really like these Haunted stands and I even bought online another one for my signature Spectra, so that all of my Monster High ghosts dolls have the same stands.

18 January 2016 at 00:10Hi Margaret Ann, congratulations on finding her and adding her to your collection! You're right in that I think she was pretty rare here as well, because I have not seen her in stores very often. I also have this doll, but haven't un-boxed her! I think she is my favorite Rochelle besides her signature doll. I love all of the teal/aqua color in her hair! 🙂
