Review # 29 Bratz #SelfieSnaps Cloe Doll

Bratz made a huge comeback to the market this year with new dolls and stop-motion webisodes on YouTube. The dolls have been relaunched with a new makeover 14 years after the first range. These new fashion-forward dolls are supposed to represent the modern era of camera phones and social media, with accessories like phone cases and selfie sticks, and boxes covered in emojis. The main characters include Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade and a new girl, Raya. So far there were several single dolls, 2-packs and one 5-pack released in the following doll lines:

I must admit that I didn’t know much about Bratz dolls until now. When they first came out, I was a teenager who has just grown out of playing with dolls. Today when I look at dolls not as a child, but as an adult collector, I am very intrigued by how unique these dolls are. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about Bratz dolls, but I decided to got one doll just to see what they are all about. When Cloe arrived on my doorstep, I fell in love immediately. I am pretty sure that I will be getting more Bratz dolls in the future!

#SelfieSnaps Cloe is absolutely adorable. From her pink hair to her pink shoes with wings, she looks very nice and sweet. Her makeup is very delicate and girly, and her outfit looks cute on her. It takes some time to get used to her body proportions but this is what makes her special. She seems to be a very durable, sturdy doll and I like that when I am playing with her or when I am taking her out of the apartment, I am not afraid that I might break something. I am very impressed with the amount of accessories she comes with and I really like that you can easily change her look just by putting glasses and a beanie on her. It is interesting that the Bratz dolls do not actually have feet and instead, their shoes snap on and off the legs. It makes is easier not to loose the shoes but on the other hand it makes it difficult to change the feet/shoes between dolls (because for example in case of  sandals you need to make sure that the dolls’ skin tones match). I really like #SelfieSnaps Cloe but if I could change one thing about her, I would give her arms that are articulated in wrists and elbows. Other than this, I am a big fan of this doll.
