Upcoming Monster High releases – Boo York, Boo York and Monster Exchange

I am anxious about new Monster High doll lines that will be released in 2015. There are many new characters coming soon. Unfortunately in general I am not very exited about most of them.

Let’s begin with the Boo York, Boo York line. Luna Mothews just looks weird. Elle Eedee is too similar to Spectra for me, but I love the play on word LED in her name.  And Astranova… I don’t know, I guess I am simply not a fan of aliens, but her floating station looks cool 😉 On the other hand I really can’t wait to see in person Mouscedes, the daughter of the Rat King! I hope she will be in stores soon. I am also glad that Mattel made a new Nefera doll – we all waited too long for it.

There are also new dolls coming in Monster Exchange line. I have already seen only the artworks, so I cannot judge the dolls but… Kjersti Trollson looks like a viking nerd and I have mixed feelings about it, but I definitely love how they made her to be a troll and love games so she could become an “internet troll”! 😀 I have no opinion on Batsy Claro – I need to see more pictures of her and I hope she will not be too similar to dolls from Getting Ghostly line, since she is a ghost bat. However I am in love with Isi Dawndancer and I can’t wait to see her as a doll! I hope she will be as cute as in the picture and they will make her well!

Overall I am very skeptical about new dolls, but it all can change when I will see them in stores. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks I will come back from a store with Luna Mothews and I will be in love with her 😉 We’ll see!
